I understand what you're saying, but the flak doesn't/shouldn't bother anyone if they turn out to be correct. I remember on the iii board I got a lot of abuse for saying after the Georgia results were revealed in November that I had sold out at 8.8p and was waiting for 6.1p. Loads of posts came about how there was no way it would ever dip under 7p again, blah blah blah.
A few days later it did indeed hit 6.1p and they all shut up. That's the best way to silence critics IMO. Alternatively, if a trader doesn't post either buys or sells, that'd be alright too (providing they don't start going on about how they bought in at the low/sold at the high after the event).
What pisses people off is when someone after-event's the whole thing. I can still remember at 8c that Nana made a post that he would get back in after it dropped to 5.5c. It never hit 5.5c, yet here he is claiming to have sold out at 14c. It's so transparent and people like that don't deserve acknowledgement IMO.
You're certainly not one of the people I was aiming my argument at. :)
