what makes you think they did not know? laughable. pete knows exactly who it they are ... otherwise why would he go to such lengths to keep them out of the spotlight? remember the lengths to which they counted shares over and over again to make sure that the 20% wasn't breached? hmmm FIRB was the reason - they would have opened the books.
maybe management need to be asked who there major shareholders are at an AGM?
