Yes you cant compare the top soil samples to whats under the cover. The top cover is usually weathered by rain, heat and erosion factors so in all is leached of its value. The higher grade stuff is in my books well below the leaching region where it is unaffected as much and is where AEMs and MELMs come in and find all our conductors etc that have magnetic chargeability show in where mineralisation lies and to some extent to grade.
PHILs HILL is a prime example of this and according to the experts and the powers to be guiding our future are saying that there is a compelling case for a discovery to be made. All the signs are there to say so.
