I reckon it is a stock standard system refusal because of spread.
I have often had it with comsec and every single time I have been able to get a phone operator to override it. Including placing bids a long way from the last sale.
Sometimes the operator doesn't know what you are talking about and you have to ask for a supervisor - but I have had success every time.
