Started seeing a few little references by other Biometric Co's in their recent Patents.

Don't really mean much for us atm but just found the tenuous links interesting.

Not directly referenced to WBT (unlike the prev Intel one) but mild forms of acknowledgment of the possible capability of Corneal Reflections in "Liveness" test for Biometrics.....covering bases maybe? Whether WBT is successful or not, I do like to find refs to the Cornea and in particular Specular Reflections, which indicate an awareness of the possibility.

Previously known methods of iris spoof detection (disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 8,364,971) include one or more of (a) altering levels of illumination and observing effects of change in illumination intensity on the eye, (b) changing the position or pattern of LEDs providing illumination and observing differences in specular patterns reflected off the cornea of the eye, and (c) modifying an angle of illumination over successive images

The biometric identifier is preferably generated for the purposes of authenticating/identifying the user according to the captured biometrics and determining the user\'s liveness. The present disclosure also describes additional techniques for preventing erroneous authentication caused by spoofing. In some examples, the anti-spoofing techniques may include capturing one or more images of a user\'s face or regions therein, including the eyes (e.g., iris, cornea etc.), the periocular region and surrounding area, and analyzing the captured images for indications of liveness.
