Maybe I am drawing a very long bow here but I found this to be an interesting coincidence considering where the Wavefront testing is being conducted.  Of particular interest is the sponsor of the grant.

Now if I were to look at 'continuous authentication' in literal terms, it means to me that in preference to having a user authenticate right at the start and then not again, whatever the system in question is instead performs periodic authentication on the person using it to ensure it is the appropriate user.   Given what we know about Wavefront and in particular a) the means by which Wavefront identifies a user and b) the ability to work in natural light, the whole concept of 'continuous authentication' appears to lend itself to Wavefront's technology.

Like I said, probably drawing a long bow but interesting nonetheless.
