This is big news. Previously, I mentioned it would be a game changer.
In a prior post of mine I noted that POS is moving into a specialty line of energy product because nickel is needed to produce zero emission energy.
No longer nickel for stainless steel. No more 'competition' with pig iron.
Now government is funding $119m. Maybe POS only gets pennies now. No matter. End result is POS shifts into the EV space.
I encourage POS management to seek co-funding from private sector to create an environmentally sound nickel precinct in Kalgoorlie.
I hope many jobs are created including many high skilled jobs from this technological advancement.
Meanwhile - I agree, start it up asap.
