You statement about franking coal seem gas is misinformed. They are not franking any wells. Venus 1 like most CSG wells in the Surat basin is not franked. They simply dewater the coal and then get the gas to flow to surface. They then are looking to turn the natural gas into hydrogen gas and carbon products (Graphene and Carbon nanotubes - see Jv with Synergen) with Zero emissions. This is actually called Emerald Hydrogen and could be a potential game changer for Australian gas industry.
