You are obviously more than "just an average punter". How did you acquire your knowledge of the gas industry? Are there a few references you use or is it information you have gleaned from many different sources over the years?

With respect to company valuations and upside we might agree that ESG or BOW are worth more per GJ of reserves but this is already reflected in the SP. Presumably if the SP of MEL fell and the SP of ESG and BOW rose in the absence of significant news that would tip you in favour of buying MEL if you were investing more money in CSG stocks (since you don't seem to me the topsy-turvy type who buys because the price goes up and sells because the price goes down). I don't really expect a precise answer to this question but how have you done the calculation indicating that the current valuation gap between MEL and the others is at the correct level?
