    I also took a position in CCF today - seems comparatively better value when comparing the two at this point in time.

    Looking forward to the next 6-12 months as the deal flow heats up and they both start attracting the attention of more mainstream investors

    I think the Myrtle Rust thing is a bit of a non-issue as these two companies are selling carbon credits, not timber.

    So long as the governing body overseeing the credit scheme deems the plantations as having sufficient quality to generate a carbon credit then contracts will continue to be signed. I think it would be too messy financially and politically to come along and see the credits generated are null and void if some of the trees happen to be diseased. How would you quantify the effect Myrtle Rust has on it's carbon capture ability? How would you track down these affected credits when they're already out and trading in the ETS?
