Yep, the same problem with our cat, but this time we weren't feeding it Purina One but another 'famous' brand. What do they put into dried cat food that makes felines jump through hoops and do silly things just to get some of this stash? Is there MSG, salt, or some kind of ingredient to cause addiction?
One thing that our cat's loved was sardines in jelly - usually the home brand stuff. I don't know if you can still get it (haven't had cats for a while). But when it comes to cat and dog food in a can just remember those 'meaty chunks' are just that; 'meaty' but 'not meat'. They are ground down animal bones and flesh, mixed with wheat germ, flour, colours to make them look like real meat. Maybe the insatiable dogs can be fooled, but cats - are you kidding!
