People say these things to plant a seed of doubt.
I recommend doing some more research into PUR, have a look at some of the top 20 holders, recent announcements, maps and ground geology (surprisingly a lot of info online) surrounding explorers recent drill results, commodity prices and of course market sentiment, which is hot right now.
A lot of updates to come in the short term.
TBH I think we will see 10c before we see 3c lol.
