my thinking behind that was,
Ive got a couple of sections right beside a river. We’re going through the process of putting a house on one.
Because of the complex geological positioning of the land, being so close to the river was a concern and the corner section is potentially going to block the traffics view of the 1 lane bridge, so we require more and very expensive reports (full traffic report and flood report were $13k alone!)
But if we are to put a house on the other section then generating these reports are not necessary as we/government already have them.
So the process on the 2nd section would be cheaper and faster...
I related that to CHN already having done the hard yards gaining approval there.
But yes, I think this would be a different story especially when involving mining, protected land and native trees.
Hopefully the full AEM survey isn’t too far away, that will give us a bit more info to work off.
