Why would the Mongolian coal mines sell to the Chinese for such a low price. If China has Mongolia by the ball, I'm assuming that current Mongolian coal mines are state run, and the Chinese Govt pays the Mongolian Govt a low price for its coal, because it can.
Hunnu, being a public company, would, I imagine, sell its coal for whatever it could get for it. It might not get spot prices, but maybe something in between spot and exploitation.
Also, what's stopping Hunnu from putting in a wash plant, if the economics and need for it are there?
