All jokes aside, I'm surprised that the SP dropped as far as it did given the fundamentals are so good. Based on what I had heard/seen about the country regions of England, I expected the Brexit vote to go the way it did. However my expectations were that it would drop a few cents from low 60's not from the low 50's, such was the ability of the shorter to manipulate the SP.
Unless there is a shock result on Saturday the SP should not be affected too much. However if the ALP do win, I wonder if they will attempt to bring in the Mining Tax again?
