The mining tax won't do much good when it's a tax on excessive profits which don't exist at the moment.
The old saying is that you don't cut your nose to spite your face. A protest vote which will happen against the major parties will not only make the result close but we'll end up with another hung Senate. Another change of government is not a good thing when we need stability right now. Thanks to compulsory voting, I think the liberals will get back in, just. Good result for mining, business and PLS.
