Today - the 16th of February, is the two year anniversary since a major reserve upgrade announcement.

16/02/2010:
2P gas reserves now 397 PJ (33% increase)
3P gas reserves now 2,239 PJ (46% increase

With PEL 13 reserve increased only on 14/07/2011, as displayed on MEL website today:
2P 428 PJ
3P 2,542 PJ

*In regards to RVPS, it's been 20 months since approval. Still no production liscence granted. Life's harder in NSW than in QLD, yes I know.

*LNG became substential holder 17 months ago.

*The mysterious "Asia Roadshow" was almost 6 months ago.

*Change in substential holding from LNG Ltd. (Twice), four and three months ago.

*EPW became major holder three months ago...

There is no doubt that things continues to be discussed in behind closed curtains, or boardroom doors.
I'll leave MEL on top drawer. Because , the chance of a big reserve upgrade happenning with Rosella might just make a predator to stike sooner than later.

On the side note, what are your take on the possibility of LNG Ltd and their Chiner partners taking out WCL? If it's true, then they sure have a strange way of doing business. ie. cash bid for WCL, yet buying on market for MEL and topping up their % when threatened (EPW) and in panic?

All IMO, what do I know?
