That was probably true about 40 years ago when kids grew up in a household that had almost always had a conservative government, their parents were raised in a n anti commie McCarthy style and their dads were likely WW2 vets. There was a strong anti Asian feeling still and climate change was not on the radar. Women often stayed home as they had left school at 15. Divorces were difficult, we went to church on Sundays and SSM was just porn. Greens were salad or cabbage. News was what we heard from the likes of Murdoch and not Google. So some of us grew up in a very conservative world and have retained that. The RWs still trot this out as being true today but they are wrong. The shift is happening. Women voters lean Left and women rarely change their mind. The shift is happening but they still cling to old theories.

and with such increasing awareness another problem looks like fading away OB..... the duopolistic paradigm of right and left politics and political parties will be replaced with independent political candidates. the sooner we can remove this archaic paradigm the better.
