when ever i have had to recover a file from the trash bin , I just right click and restore.
You can select blocks for restoring/deletion from the trash
Select th efirst file to recover, hold in shift then click on one at the end (everything in between should be selected) right click the selected block then restore. If you are deleting a block right click delete will remove them from the bin and leave the others
