Depends on your perspective. The fact is Poland did not trust Stalin or Hitler. When Stalin expelled the Nazis that distrust was well founded. Then of course Poland was also betrayed by the Allies. Poland solved the first 6 numbers of the enigma machine, then Polish pilots probably tipped the balance of the Battle of Britain. The Poles were on a hiding to nothing. I hope their current politicians have learned some lessons and just concentrate on getting back the Polish speaking regions Stalin illegally merged into Ukraine.
