Strategically, it was the biggest blunder by Nato. All they had to do, was allow Ukraine stay as a neutral country and become a buffer zone between West versus East. Their security was not under threat.
Instead, they doubled down; by dangling the Nato membership carrot in front of Zelenskyy.
He took it, hook, line and sinker.
Now, Zelenskyy is seeing his country being torn apart. Ukraine will become the next West versus East and literally be broken up into 2 parts.
It will become the next Syria - and like Syria, a lot of crazy lunatics will be drawn in to fight and die.
From this, a new cold war will kick off.
This will trigger a world wide recession Oil, gas, wheat and other commodities will remain high for the rest of the year, if not longer.
Everyone around the world will suffer.
I am hoping both sides will step away from the precipice. Its not too late to sit down to negotiate a peaceful way out.
