koozy, it looks like Putin has objectives he will take with or without a fight. It is not a given he will win, or win with unacceptable losses, or with detonation of some of his battlefield small tactical nukes.At this point Ukraine should use what bargaining power they have to get out of this mess. Building up deadly hardware in the Baltic states is also like installing missiles in Cuba. Putin could regard that as a legitimate threat. He would be correct. The EU seem to be slow learners. That could also trigger WW3. I think not, but why take the risk. It would be wise for the President to get out of Dodge.
