— Speaking to annual international forum in the Pacific port city of Vladivostok, President Vladimir Putin lashed out at Obama's foreign policy , saying Russia won't tolerate Washington's belligerent expansion in the Baltic Sea and shall defend its sovereignty.
According to Moscow Times, the Russian president hailed the Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump as a smart politician who fully understands the impending threat of terrorism in the restive Middle-East region where Saudi regime desperately seeks to suppress the democratic ambitions of its nation by fuelling the sectarian civil war elsewhere in Syria, Iraq and Yemen.
"Russia hopes to see Mr. Trump in the Oval Office as a smart politician who intends to stop the decades-long vicious circle of supporting Saudi regime, which would naturally lead to further terrorist activities and chaos.
Moscow won't sit idle by while the American battleships imping on our territorial sovereignty in the Baltic Sea," ITAR-TASS News Agency quoted President Putin as saying on Sunday.
