I'm not sure what this thread is about. Is it that Russia made huge sacrifices in the WW2 defeat of the Nazis some 80 years ago?
If so, that is not in dispute.
Other nations also suffered enormous losses. Pro rata, Australia and New Zealand probably as much as any country.
Unfortunately.
Financially, the UK finally paid off their WW2 war debt just over 10 years ago, in 2016.
