I've been saying the obvious , less gas and oil will be bought from Russia , particularly oil .
They will still buy Russian gas and as you say , in the short and medium term, do need it . But Rusia needs to sell it as much as Euro's need to buy and can't afford to be too pushy . Longer days and warmer weather will help the Euro's some for some months .
I doubt the rouble for gas deal will be forced through myself but time will tell .
