Aldi will increase their market share albeit slowly, as more and more people struggle with unemployment, hikes in everyday necessities like electricity, water and council rates or rent.

I believe Aldi product is fine, but maybe below a standard many of us have become accustomed to...at a price?
But more and more people will bite the bullet and try to save a bit on basics.
I imagine a lot of the dry products such as coffee tea etc would be purchased globally and distributed to the various countries where Aldi has a presence.

In Brisbane it is common to see 2 x 40' containers at a time delivered en masse to the main Aldi distribution centre at Yatala loaded with dry product and various other goods.
    .
Aldi do buy their fresh produce from the same distributors as Coles, Woolworths and Metcash do and are delivered in the same fashion.
