If you've ever played online poker tournaments on Pokerstars or similar platforms, that's one of the closest existing services.

ESH offers gaming competition via tournaments with prizes, social interface, etc. You still play the same games but ESH hosts the tournaments.
Gaming companies typically just have their own ranked ladder for people to bust their guts hours a day trying to climb to the top so they get a little medal that says "this person is really good". That's the competitive experience for most/all games, right now.

Thats initially why I bought in. Because I think a system like that would give gamers a better experience.

The system seems to be evolving further with mobile gaming through Razer and Singtel. Keen to hear the details of how that will all work when the company lets us know what they were talking to Singtel about.
