I was probably the first here to say the auditor was in the firing line ( back when I was defending the stock against Buffet at the 2.3c level ) as this is in fact their job and what they earn their fee for.

The whole tone of their counsels argument has been whom within the auditing firm is responsible - they've clearly given up on 'not being responsible' as a firm and as such the Judge clearly thinks this case should be over already.... and thus the warning on costs.

However their remains the possibility of partial fault ascribing to the directors of Centro too - as clearly the dates on the securities was something they should have been aware of to some degree.
