US listing is not always useful, particularly if the market there is at an unfavourable stage of its cycle. Image if the NASDAQ were considered insanely expensive, god forbid, you list and then it corrects a la 2000. You would not be a happy camper. One recent example of a stock I hold that did it was AVH. Cracking tech, poor board/governance, but doing pretty well, up 10x. Then lists in the US and lost 50%. Personally I think it is managements fault, with lack of oversight from a poor board, and not necessarily the US listing, but just saying, it is not always the panacea one may think.
