I couldnt quite make out which of the patent applications specifically related to Glaucoma? was that #7 in the table you provided "Gene mediated conditions"? My guess is if PYC actually announced that they were pursuing glaucoma, this condition could potentially surpass the commercial opportunity in kidney disease?
On another matter, hopefully we will see data on the primate study soon. does anyone know if ethics committees are required to abort trials in primates where there are adverse reactions to new drugs? My sense is that as PYC hasnt announced any adverse reactions (or aborted the study), then we can possibly assume that the drug is safe in monkeys!
