The truth is NO. It would just be conjecture. I just saw all the 22k and 26k orders pulled at close, prior to auction. You could take a stab at it and say it's accumulation and they are trying to collect from those that are nervous. You could also say it is someone (algorithmic trading software) propping up the price to allow them to get the best exit price because they have a large parcel they want to get out of.
Also from an Algorithmic point of view high volume trading is less risky when you are talking about .01cent moves rather than .05 cent move. So under 10 cents it is a workable strategy
PYC by looking at the register might be able to glean what has happened, but I suspect and hope that they are far more focused on the impending results of Cohort #4
