Some previous comments about biotechs are appropriate to repeat here. Derisked means what it says, but it still factors in things like 1/ patients take a while to all get on therapy, they put in a sliding scale for this over years. 2/ some patients drop out, they put in a number for this 3/ drug pricing not set yet, they usually aim low. 4/ various delays will happen 5/some fancy calculations go into even derisked stocks
I guess the upside is that if we get to $1.20 then over time it is likely that PYC would continue to rise as these variables become more concrete, assuming the numbers are favourable. And there is “talk” of a drug every year…..
My other thought is that really this is a platform company, and the first deal might actually be to another player just to use our platform. As we already have safety, and excellent delivery we need to watch that space! And there is no limit to how many drugs we might assist with…. The first one will set the price alight as there will be some (discounted) assumption there will be others!
