Regarding your final sentence: yes, I think if they really did “de-risk” it the prediction would frighten them. They don’t want to look foolish if it didn’t reach those heights so a bit of a$$-covering going on I feel. They come up with a value that is still about 10 x what it is now and think most punters will be happy with that.
