In simple terms the Neuren product is a more generic treatment which acts on the inflammation that is the end product of the Shank 3 mutation. Our product is aimed at stopping the process at its source the Shank3 protein.
In theory ours is a more elegant solution. In practise I suspect they will work well together in combination as they work on different parts of the disease process.
Time will tell. I don’t know if this will affect orphan disease status or not.
