This is a slightly contentious topic of discussion on this forum as there seem to be a number of people who hold both. (I don’t so possibly biased to PYC).
in essence in theory they could be complimentary however, at least one poster Hottod (very respected on here) felt that governments are unlikely to fund both.
That leaves which is better. Neurons product acts downstream stops inflammation and has some other mechanisms of action which I don’t pretend to know in detail. But it treats the downstream effects of the protein deficit.
PYC drug directly increases the protein production at the RNA level of the deficient gene. In theory (my biased opinion). It should be a better treatment. There are some problems 1. It is years behind Neuren. 2. It is yet to be proven. 3. It requires intrathecal administration. (3 monthly injections via Lumbar puncture).
