I have now recalled reading somewhere that the PYC cell penetrating peptide (CPP) delivery platform tested on rats indicated that the CPP’s enabled PYC to use 1/60th of the normal volume of drug (used without a CPP) and obtain the same efficacy.
that would no doubt vary with each drug and trial, but it certainly demonstrates how efficient the delivery of the drug can be. The lower the volume of foreign substances in the blood, the more likely it WILL NOT create toxicity issues in liver and kidney.
