I found an older paper/poster from the PYC group. It is:
Hall, Clinton et al Cold Spring Harbor Perspectives in Biology 8(7): a018069 (2016).
It states that the library is derived from “82 genomes and 118 synthetic viral genes.”
The genomes are from bacteria, archaea, fungi etc. I guess the CCPs they currently use are not derived from the 118 synthetic viral genes. I imagine that the vast bulk of the CCPs are from the bacterial, archaea etc genomes.
