Agree, and also seen it done. Very easy with the low vol trading in this stock, and very obvious with the single order low value trades being queued up to push the price around.
Not much management can do if someone with deep pockets has fixed their eye on the register as an opportunity to play around with it for trading $'s....except keep going with business and printing positive announcements.....apart from try to gain insto support to build the buy side volume and burn anyone trying to short. i.e. make it too dangerous to play around with. In a way I thought this was one of the reasons for the consolidation, to make us more attractive for US funds to invest....!?
At the end of the day, for me, these kind of day-to-day movements are mostly irrelevant though as my timeline is to hold for at least the next 2-3 years to (hopefully) realise the commercial benefits from the amazing science they're doing. So, do I care about the share price in the meantime....? Probably get a bit frustrated here and there, but overall not really as I reckon they'll get there in the end.
