Hmmmm....? It surprised me after the consolidation just how thin the buy side was when I thought the reason they were doing it was to help attract US investors to the buy side. Well, for the last period it's been about 4-1 sellers to buyers. You're right, now it's only 4-3 in favour of sellers, but hardly inspiring stuff.
IMO this is the biggest error management have made in a long time. Not building better buy side support, particularly around consolidation.
At least we have the science, which is kicking goals left right and centre
