pyne and alberici

Anyone who didn't see this interview on Lateline last night missed perhaps one of the most brilliant instances of "fight ABC bias" back which will ever have gone down on tape, for posterity.

Ms. Alberici, so full of herself, superior airs flag flying in the breeze, trim haircut bristling - thought she'd wipe the floor with her long list of rehtorical "questions" - (substitute statements) - (Wonder how many in her production team spend all day dreaming up these "let's trap him" "questions" - which Ms. Alberici reads off, one by one.

Has she never heard of spontaneity?

Well, Pyne was at his absolute best - had an intlligent, and instructive answer to every one of her questions/statements,
and brilliantly, put her right back in her box.

One of the best interviews seen.

And Pyne totally across all the issues - and all aspects of his hugely complex portfolio. ALl of which he explianed - clearly, politely and concisely. No snarling, personal insults, and arrogant sneering. The usual resort of his Opposition opponents.

Absolutely fed up of these grossly overpaid ABC presenters - so arrogant, opinionated - and totally Left Wing subjective. A Fat salary - and a giant dress allowance - does not (necessarily) maketh a good interviewer! (Tony Jones a good example - but he's just plain arrogant/rude).

Pyne so brilliant, his repartee fast and sharp, (he knew he was being set-up - AGAIN!) - it actually gave us the best laugh we've had, in ages..

Great to go to bed - having had such a good laugh. For a change!
