Seriously. If the AFP say you don't go because of the risk then you dont go. Now if they ignored that advice and went and someone got injured you would be up in arms about the cavalier approach Abbott and Pyne took with the safety of other people.
As for getting the chance to explain his policies. You know as well as I that he wouldn't get through the first sentence before there was screaming and shouting. The protestors are not there to listen they are they to intimidate and close down speech they do not agree with.
