He may also stop the USA from getting involved in these conflicts overseas, he is no friend of the neocons who would see USA stick their bib in all over the place.
Having said that, I don't know who will take their place to keep some semblance of world peace and order. The UN cannot. The Chinese won't. The Russians cannot be trusted. The EU are self absorbed.
