My view is that the music companies know that the world is changing - they can either be like King Canute and think they can hold back the tide or they can make some hard decisions and try to retain some control. Releasing DRM is a painful but necessary concession for them.
Overall for destra I see the change as positive as it is a clear indication of the movement towards downloads rather than physical ownership. I think it is also important to remember that destra is developing its revenue base to so that it will not be totally reliant on download fees.
