If last night was a sample, then Rudd was bad, Gillard worse, and Shorten would be an absolute disaster! He came across as egotistic, short tempered, and intolerant of any other opinion but his own. (And rude, in cutting into other people's answer time repeatedly - and rolling his eyes to heaven - and insulting an older audience member who had a go at him!)
I think his proximity to the highest lady in the land has given him a false sense of his own importance in the scheme of things, and of the quality of his own abilities, which I see as having many flaws.
Australia needs Leaders - not gobbledeygook and the politics of nastiness - whoever's in power.
