THE man behind the Twitter account that caused an uproar on QandA is reportedly a “friend” of acquitted terrorist Zaky Mallah.
The account -@Abbottlovesa*al - was flung into the spotlight after a tweet appeared on the show’s live Twitter feed during a conversation over the role of biographers.
As Annabel Crabb was discussing the difference of the biographer and memoirist, a tweet on screen read, “I prefer ones twitter feed to their biographies (sic)”.
It was innocent enough, yet it was the profile name that had viewers up in arms.
“One of my favourite political memoirs is the Alan Clarke diaries,” Crabb said, just before the handle “AbbottlovesA*al” appeared on screen.
