"Anyhow, Kogan told it how it is - initially the applause were coming automatically in his direction, but disappeared for good when he mentioned that all new Australians must follow Australia's way of life, and that authority in the streets must be upheld (the silence was epic)."
1. We live in a democracy - why single out new Australians? As an old Australian I'm glad no one is spying on me to make sure I am following someone else's idea of what is the Australian way of life (whatever that means).
2. What is "authority in the streets"? Does it only apply to new Australians and we therefore need separate laws for new and old Australians when we are outside our homes?
