    While labor/greens are having a sook about the same media that helped them to power in 2007, they now want to somehow vet the media.

    It might be too late for anything to save labor/greens at the next election, how then will you people on your media soapboxes feel when Abbott is PM and has full control of the media and labor/greens may never be heard of again?...LOL

    However, I don't wish for that scenario. I agree with Peter Beattie that, although the media is not perfect, we have a pretty good balance and let them do their job.

    I don't think ANY political power should have such power to meddle with the media - that is for communist style governments and not this wonderful country of Australia whose freedom has come at great sacrifice of our fallen soldiers.
