It is true that sometimes the best sale you make is the one you walk away from....however, based on the sheer length of time, cost and effort that has been afforded to this endeavor from both sides of the fence over the past 3 years it seems very strange that:

A: A multi billion dollar govt organisation wouldn't be professional enough to announce an intention not to proceed, and provide a reason why. After all, this was not just a low level tender whereby ECT were competing with other companies for some work.

B: After so much time and effort, ECT would be so quick to say: "Well its been four weeks and no call.....lets drop this, its not worth it."

The more I think about yesterdays announcement, the more I feel either scenario simply does not add up....IMO there has to be something in the background we the shareholders are not being informed of....at this present time.

Unless this really is simply just the way NMDC treats potential partners....
