On this topic, I have to say that the price target set for the performance rights given to execs and board back in H1 2020 wasn't too much lower - the $500m MC was to be calculated on the shares in issue back at grant date, which from a spreadsheet I kept was (I believe) 1.25bn, equating the target to ~$0.40
A review of the performance rights and their vesting period being 3 years (which I understand as being the rights' expiration date if other vesting conditions are not satisfied) is confirmation of how much has gone wrong since:
A - did these vest? I believe NOT as SMS is no longer going to provide a turnkey EPC proposal, but since "The Board will determine (in its sole discretion) the extent to which the relevant vesting conditions have beensatisfied.", one cannot be sure
B - cannot happen
C - years away
D - Not yet
E - Not yet
F - Nowhere near
