and walking the halls of malls, and supermarket aisles - the majority of the general masses are entirely unaware of the glories of Mozart, Beethoven Chopin Puccini Verdi Stravinsky Haydn Bach Vivaldi Tchaikovsky et al - in fact if their music was played - for those who love it - the malls and the aisles would be empty.

SO if Pyne gets condemned for not knowing much about Lou Reed - where does this leave the masses - who would soon begrudge the rights of those of us who love ALl music - including classical, which, should it be played in such places, would NOT be tolerated by most people these days at all. They'd go the the managers to complain. Don't know one classical composer from another - nor do they care!

And so we're treated to all the never ending assembly line, mediocre, musical pulchitrude these places churn out, full blast, in our ears! Some of it good - lots of it abysmal noise.

Perhaps Pyne also sneezed - or coughed - last night, did he? Cannot allow THAT! Oh, no.

How trite, how petty - and what a waste of time this small minded political intolerance is! Five against one - five of the Left - one of the Right. Is that how this all panned out?

At least Pyne has a sense of humor - sadly lacking in others. And a hide as thick as a rhino - bet he just laughed it all off. And more power to him.
